About this tour

For cruise passengers who want to experience it all, the Gibraltar Complete Shore Excursion offers the ultimate 6-hour guided tour, covering the Rock’s most iconic landmarks, natural wonders, and military heritage for a truly immersive experience.

Your journey begins at the legendary Pillars of Hercules, where myth meets history and breathtaking views span across two continents. Learn the fascinating stories surrounding this iconic viewpoint before stepping into the mysterious St. Michael’s Cave, where “The Awakening” light and music show transforms the natural rock formations into a mesmerizing spectacle.

Next, experience the thrill of the Gibraltar Skywalk, a suspended glass platform providing panoramic 360-degree views over the Rock, the Mediterranean, and the North African coast — a perfect vantage point for photos and memories.

No visit would be complete without the playful Barbary Apes, Europe’s only wild monkeys. Watch these lively creatures in their natural habitat and enjoy a close encounter with Gibraltar’s most famous residents.

Step back in history with a visit to the Great Siege Tunnels, carved into the Rock in the 18th century, followed by the City Under Siege Exhibition, which highlights Gibraltar’s resilience during times of conflict. Continue the journey into the WWII Tunnels, exploring preserved wartime rooms and tunnels that reveal the Rock’s critical role during the Second World War.

The tour then takes you to the Moorish Castle, a medieval fortress showcasing Gibraltar’s rich cultural heritage, before marveling at the massive 100 Ton Gun, a symbol of the Rock’s military strength.

Your excursion concludes with breathtaking views from Europa Point, the southernmost tip of Gibraltar where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean Sea, and a visit to Catalan Bay, a colorful fishing village with charming houses lining the shore — the perfect spot to soak in Gibraltar’s coastal charm.

Throughout the tour, our knowledgeable guides provide context, stories, and historical insights, ensuring every stop comes to life and giving you a complete picture of Gibraltar’s unique culture and heritage.

Book your Gibraltar Complete Shore Excursion today for a full-day adventure through history, nature, and iconic landmarks during your cruise stop.
