About this tour

The Gibraltar Standard Tour has a duration of 1 hour and 45 minutes and will take on a journey throughout 5 of the most popular Gibraltar Attractions on the Rock, each contributing to the rich tapestry of Gibraltar’s history and natural wonders.

The Gibraltar Standar Rock Tour will begin at the legendary Pillars of Hercules, where myth and reality intertwine. Gaze upon these ancient pillars that mark the entrance to the Mediterranean Sea, and immerse yourself in the fascinating tales that have surrounded this iconic location for centuries.

Followed by the enchanting experience of the Gibraltar St. Michael’s Cave, where nature’s beauty converges with human creativity. The Awakening Show unveils a mesmerising display of lights and music within the cave, transforming this natural wonder into a magical spectacle.

After visiting St. Michael’s Cave, the tour continues to the Gibraltar Skywalk, one of the Rock’s most breathtaking modern attractions. Suspended 340 meters above sea level, this spectacular glass platform offers panoramic views stretching across the Mediterranean, the Bay of Gibraltar, and even as far as the North African coastline on a clear day. Walking across the Skywalk is both exhilarating and unforgettable, giving you a unique perspective of Gibraltar’s dramatic landscape. This stop is a perfect photo opportunity and a highlight for visitors seeking both adventure and stunning scenery during their Gibraltar tour.

As no visit to the Rock of Gibraltar is complete without seeing the iconic Barbary Apes, the Standard Rock Tour will provide you an opportunity to encounter the playful residents of the rock — the Barbary Apes. You will be able to delight in their unique features as they roam freely in their natural habitat, adding a touch of wildlife and charm to your visit to Gibraltar.

To finalise this Gibraltar Tour, you will delve into the historical depths of Gibraltar with a visit to the popular Great Siege Tunnels. Learn about the strategic importance of these tunnels during times of conflict and gain insights into the resilience and ingenuity that shaped the rock’s military history.

Our knowledgeable guides will provide context, anecdotes, and historical background, ensuring that each attraction comes to life so that you have the best experience in Gibraltar.
